The dotted grid is subtle enough that my handwriting doesn't fight it, and the matte cover hasn't picked up a single fingerprint yet. The elastic and pen loop mean it actually stays shut in my bag instead of flopping open.
I grabbed this mainly for sketching out tattoo ideas and the matte cover doesn't pick up fingerprints at all. The elastic pen holder is a small touch but I actually use it every day. Wish I'd bought one sooner.
