I knew it was French-only going in, and honestly the text is worth the effort even with my rusty vocabulary. The behind-the-scenes notes on how the studio built its early scenes are the highlight for me.
The concept art sections for each game are laid out chronologically, which makes it easy to flip straight to the chapters I cared about. Fair warning though, it's French only, so I kept a translation app open the whole time. Still worth it for the behind-the-scenes sketches alone.
I don't read French and still spent hours on the pencil sketches and storyboards from early development. The paper quality is heavier than I expected for an art book, which makes the full-page spreads look great on a shelf.
